This is a 2 hour outreach program being given to the 5th graders at Pacific St Charter School in Placerville, CA. During this program the students will get to view the sun through an approved optical telescope, learn about the composition of the sun, make sundials and learn how to tell time by the sun, and learn about the importance of the Earth-Sun relationship in creating Earth's seasons.
